ValuAtlas in English

ValuAtlas (i.e. CastingAtlas) is a website created to connect, serve and offer information to foundry companies and their clients. ValuAtlas was designed for foundries, patternmakers, casting product designers, toolmakers, research institutes, students and for anyone who has a interest in the field and in need for more information.

ValuAtlas contains hundreds of pages of study material, casting technology videos, statistics as well as foundry industry related links and information about casting technology research. It also includes a multilingual foundry dictionary, CastWord and a Finnish foundry material and supplier database, CastFind.

ValuAtlas is administered cooperatively by Tampere University of Technology, Valimoinstituutti (the Foundry Institute) and Aalto University's School of Science and Technology, Foundry Technology. Most of the study materials found in ValuAtlas are being utilised by Tampere University of Technology, Aalto University's School of Science and Technology, as well as by Tampere University of Applied Sciences and Tampere College.
